Talking to God
We experience this power in community. God has afforded to us an open door.
Need prayer? For families or friends?
Two realities of prayer that are available to anyone
We do not, therefore, have to rely on priests, or rabbis to pray for us to reach God. We have direct access provided by Jesus alone.
We can enter into His presence at any time of the day with a contrite heart knowing that His response would be, “come in.” When we awaken at dawn, He is there. When we arise at midnight, He is there. At work, in a crowd, or alone, He is available.
We don’t have to worry about what to say, for it is the Holy Spirit who will turn our groans into sweet heavenly language.
“In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words.” Romans 8:26
